About the role
As an experienced Team Leader, you will use your experience and enthusiasm to engage and manage staff to successfully support people with disabilities in all aspects of their lives.

This includes but is not limited to:
1. Manage a team of Disability Support Workers.
2. Recruitment, induction and training of staff and volunteers
3. Implement strategies and programs that support participants to achieve their goals and live their best lives.
4. Provide supportive direction, training and coaching to a large number of staff.
5. Monitor staff performance and compliance with all policies and procedures and take correctiveand     disciplinary action as required.
6. Conduct quarterly observations and one on ones with staff
7.Provide feedback to staff on their performance.
8. Provide feedback to management on staff performance.
9. Ensure support is underpinned and delivered in alignment with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards       Framework, Person Centred approach and ENOP’s Values.
10. Ensure participants are supported to live their best life and develop skills aligned to their goals.
11. Support and actively encourage participants to make decisions about their support.
12. Work with other providers, agencies and organisations to facilitate participants’ access to necessary services and activities of interest.
13. Engage with existing and potential participants, their families, advocates, community  members, practitioners, therapists, other carers, and service providers.
14. Roster staff when needed

Essential
Minimum two years experience managing staff, including conducting one on ones, performance and annual reviews etc
Strong leadership skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of the disability industry
High level of computer literacy and the ability to adapt quickly to changes
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to build relationships quickly
Effective communication and literacy skills with a focus on attention to detail
Sound judgement, flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
Current NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check and Working With Children Check
Valid Driver’s Licence

Desirable
Qualification in a related field
